Exhibition at Humboldt Lab shows works by Dimitra Almpani-Lekka and Rasa Weber
Water is life, but it can also destroy. The exhibition »On Water. WasserWissen in Berlin« will show current research projects of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) on the topic of water from October 10, 2025, in the Humboldt Labor. These will be flanked by artistic positions that deal with the element of water and vividly convey its versatility. MoA researchers Dimitra Almpani-Lekka and Rasa Weber contribute to the exhibition with objects from their research on rainwater harvesting and artificial reefs.

Workshop on Insulation Materials from Raw Wool With Folke Köbberling, Natalija Miodragovic, Stella Maxeiner und Andrija Mihailovic
Raw wool – an underestimated resource! In the workshop within the exhibition »An Example to Follow«, insulation materials against noise, cold and dirt are made. The raw materials sheep’s wool and clay are processed into protective walls against noise and exhaust fumes for Tempelhofer Feld. The workshop will be held in collaboration with MY-CO PLACE as well as with the Institute of Architecture-Related Arts at TU Braunschweig and the Mobile Biomaterial Lab with the support of the Department of Applied and Molecular Microbiology at TU Berlin.
