Elizabeth Davis

Ellie Davis holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh (2017). She focused on critical political theory's implications on the systemic violence present within international humanitarian and economic development.

While at the Cluster of Excellence, she aims to research potential for infrastructure to exhibit the principles of human rights in emergency contexts.

Professionally, Ellie has been working with the United Nations World Food Programme since 2018: first, with the ShareTheMeal team in Berlin, and subsequently as part of the External Relations units in Cairo and Sudan. Outside of WFP, Ellie worked on sustainable development and global security issues in Washington DC, Port au Prince and Mexico City.
