Prof. Dr. Christiane Heibach

Christiane Heibach is Professor of Media Aesthetics at the Institute for Information and Media, Language and Culture (I:IMSK) at the University of Regensburg.

She is also head of a research project on atmospheres and new technologies at the Critical Media Lab of the FHNW Basel. Together with an interdisciplinary team, she is investigating the effects of current technological developments on human perception and the entire body. Her work focuses, among other things, on the theory and aesthetics of digital media and the history and aesthetics of multi-media and inter-media art forms.
