Ursula Klammer

Ursula Klammer studied art and visual history and philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Her research interests include form and image theory, image critique, art and theory of modernism, and Italian post-war modernism.

She is currently working on her PhD project about the Italian artist Carla Accardi under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Claudia Blümle and Prof. Dr. Eva Ehninger. The project »Antipittura. Carla Accardi und der moderne Bilddiskurs«, is concerned with the image critique and the self-reflection of painting in Accardi's work in the light of narratives of dissolution of form and image in the post-war avant-garde. In winter semester 2023/24 she was a lecturer at the Department of Art and Visual History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
